What our organic plan is

Our organic plan is a full service plan where every treatment we use is organic. You get the same inspection, the same regular visits and the same free re-treatment if pests come back between visits. The difference is what goes on and around your home.

Many of our customers choose it because they have kids and pets, keep a garden, or simply prefer an organic approach. We have offered organic options in the Verde Valley for years, and it is one of the things customers mention most.

What goes into an organic visit

A natural mineral dust barrier. We apply a natural mineral dust around the outside of your home. It works physically rather than as a poison: according to University of California Master Gardener guidance, it wears away the waxy outer coating of crawling insects, which then dry out. Because it works mechanically, insects are unlikely to build up resistance to it.

Organic crack and crevice treatment. We treat the cracks, gaps and voids where pests hide and travel with an organic spray, inside and outside the home.

Web removal. We knock down webs and egg sacs around the outside of the home on every visit.

A plan built for your home. We start by looking at what is going on at your property, then choose the organic treatments that fit. See our custom approach for how we build every plan.

Pests our organic plan covers

• Ants
• Spiders, including black widows
• Scorpions
• Cockroaches
• Crickets, silverfish and earwigs
• Other common crawling insects around Verde Valley homes

The one exception is termites. We do not recommend organic-only treatment for termites. Termites can do serious structural damage, and they need a proven conventional treatment. If we find termites, we will explain the options and the guarantee that comes with treatment. See termite control.

Organic plan or standard plan?

Both plans include an inspection, regular visits and free re-treatment between visits. The difference is the products.

Is organic pest control as effective as conventional?
For most common household pests, yes. Our organic plan is a full plan with regular visits and free re-treatment if pests come back. If your home has a problem the organic plan is not the right fit for, such as termites, we will tell you.

Is the organic plan safe for kids and pets?
Our organic plan is designed for families who want organic options for their kids and pets. Ask your technician about your specific situation and they will walk you through each treatment.

Do you treat termites organically?
No. We do not recommend organic-only treatment for termites. Termites need a proven conventional treatment to protect your home.

Does the organic plan cost more?
Pricing depends on your home and what we find, so we give you a quote after a free inspection.

Can I switch from a standard plan to the organic plan?
